God of Justice

We sang this song at debate last night. It really hit me... this is what our lives are really supposed to be about. Feeding the hungry, and standing beside the broken. It's kind of like the verse in Isaiah 58:6-11. The whole verse is in blue on the right sidebar of this blog, near the bottom, if you want to read it. It's so clear... our lives are all about service.
My favorite line is "keep us from just singing, move us into action." We aren't to just bring Him songs... we are to praise Him from the front lines.
Send us out, Lord.

(Verse 1)
God of Justice, Savior to all
Came to rescue the weak and the poor
Chose to serve and not be served

Jesus, You have called us
Freely we've received
Now freely we will give

(Chorus)
We must go live to feed the hungry
Stand beside the broken
We must go
Stepping forward keep us from just singing
Move us into action
We must go

(Verse 2)
To act justly everyday
Loving mercy in every way
Walking humbly before You God

You have shown us, what You require
Freely we've received
Now freely we will give

(Bridge)
Fill us up and send us out
Fill us up and send us out
Fill us up and send us out Lord

No, I will not stoop to begging for comments through annoying blinkies... but please?
